Welcome to Grasshoppers
We are a group of childminders who run a home based Montessori preschool based in Henlow village. We offer preschool sessions for ten children per day in a home based setting.
Our carefully prepared indoor and outdoor environments provide endless opportunities for learning through play, exploration and self discovery.
As we have one teacher to every 3 children, we are able to provide one to one support time, with activities tailored to each child's individual needs and interests.
We have been inspected by Ofsted twice and received outstanding gradings on both occassions. Our 2011 inspection report and 2008 inspection reports are available for you to read. We have also been inspected by the Montessori Evaluation and Accreditation Board and have been awarded their quality award. Our accreditation report is available for you to read.
Sessions are available Monday to Friday during term time. We offer morning, afternoon or all day sessions for children from 2 years 6 months to 5 years. We accept Nursery Education Grant and Childcare Vouchers.
