Our sessions are 4 and a half hours long, from 9 am until 1:30 pm. Fees are charged on a sessional basis at £20, for children 2-3 years of age. If your child is over 3, and eligible for Nursery Education Grant then the government pays up to £648 per week to cover early years education. This can reduce the fees to as little as £3.80 a session, depending upon how you choose to use the Nursery Education Grant.

Childcare vouchers

Does your company offer a scheme where you can buy childcare vouchers before tax? If so, please talk to us about it, as we may be able to accept payment using the vouchers. We are currently registered to accept Busy Bees, Leapfrog, Accor, Sodexho and Allsave vouchers.

Our sessions

We open Monday to Friday during term time. Our sessions run from 9am until 1:30 pm and are structured into three sections:

9:00 - 12:00 Preschool session

The children are free to access the wide range of equipment and activities in the indoor and outdoor environments during this time. Your child is able to follow their interests with the guidance and support of our well qualified teachers. Many activities are directly tailored to your child's needs and interests. For example, a child who is interested in playing with water would be able to fill up the water bottles for the guinea pigs, wash the windows of the playhouse, use one of our many pouring activities or water the plants in our vegetable garden. These activities would help the child to develop their motor skills, co-ordination and concentration, all important skills for later work at school.

12:00 - 13:00 Group lunch

We invite the children to bring a packed lunch and we make lunch time a special social event. Your child can get involved with preparing the lunch area, setting the table, chatting over lunch with the children and teachers, clearing away and sweeping up.

13:00 - 13:30 Group activities

Group activities may include music, sports, stories, yoga, dancing, parachute play, drama etc. The activities are tailored to the children's interests and needs, and involvement in any group activity is optional. Some activities are arranged by the teachers and others arise from the children's suggestions and ideas.
